Notes on a Legendary Hero
A 23 word manuscript written in Latin by a Medieval monk around 1460 casts Robin Hood as a persistent thief and is considered to be a rare criticism of Britain's legendary outlaw. Translated into English the note read:"Around this time, according to popular opinion, a certain outlaw named Robin Hood, with his accomplices, infested Sherwood and other law-abiding areas of England with continuous robberies"
