Jonesboro, TN, Rev War Pension Ledger Record
Below is the Pension Ledger Record recorded in Jonesboro, TN, for our ancestor Thomas King (1754-1847) who served in the Revolutionary War. Note that his date of death is recorded in the ledger on the far right.
Hi Theresa, thanks for coming by my blog. Yours is very nice-- will add it to my blogroll so I don't forget to stop by.
What a great document-- did you find it on Fold3? They have a large collection of military records going back to the Revolutionary War, often with images of the original documents like this.
I found this document on Ancestry (parent of fold3). Not sure if they have everyone indexed yet as I could not locate our other ancestor in this database.
