Missing spouse of Isabelle (Lefebvre) Geoffroy

Isabel Fleurette Lefebvre,  born  Feb 1905, was the daughter of Joseph Vital Horace & Philomene Mary (Thibault) Lefebvre of Lowell, Middlesex, Massachusetts.  I know from oral family history that her married name was Isabelle Geoffroy, but, as yet, have not been able to determine her spouse's identity.  A findagrave volunteer answered my request and kindly took a photo of her cemetery marker.  Sadly, no clues as to who her husband was is given.

I should be able to find her in the 1930 & 1940 censuses, but nothing definitive has been found. She has proven herself to be an elusive person.  So, for now, her husband's identity remains a mystery.

Don't trust oral history. The name could be her maiden name & she could have had a child out of wetlock.
In my best friend's family the story was told that a Johanna Margarita married a man named Provily, but had been married earlier to a Den Boef and had a son from her 1st marriage. It turned out Johanna Margarita's birth name was Den Boef & her son was illegitimate, so took her last name.
