Remembering Jane Austin

Jane Austen was born on 16 December 1775, at the Rectory in Steventon (located in north-east Hampshire), the daughter of George and Cassandra (Leigh) Austen.

She died on this date of 18 July in 1817 in Winchester at the age of 41.
She was buried a few days later in the north aisle of Winchester Cathedral.

Left is the 17th century house in which novelist Jane Austen spent the last eight years of her life and where she wrote Mansfield Park, Emma, and Persuasion.
Chawton Cottage is now Jane Austen's House Museum

I love Jane's novels!
I need to verify this, but I am possibly (emphasis on the possibly) related to Jane through the Hampsons of Broadwell, Oxfordshire - which would be great if it turns out to be true!!
